Synopsis:
Buffoon Rigoletto suggests to his duke the libertine behaviour that dishonours the maidens of the court, but Monterone, whose daughter was seduced by the duke, damns him: his awful jokes will turn against him. Infact, just his daughter Gilda will be a victim of the duke, who abducts her. Rigoletto decides for a revenge paying Sparafucile to kill the duke, but GIlda, who loves the duke, decides to die instead of him. When Rigoletto receives the body, he listens to the voice of the duke and discovers that the body he has in his hands is not the duke's one, but Gilda!

I feel this experience was not sold correctly. The description leads the buyer to believe that he / she is in for a spectacular opera experience. The reality: a small hotel conference auditorium, about 10 other people there, no background setting, no props, just the singers — and what was performed was a synopsis of Rigoletto, not the whole opera. These things should be clearly communicated, because both my guest and I felt hugely disappointed and let down by the experience.

Unmögliche Location, keine Stimmung, kein Prosecco — die ganze Veranstaltung hat an einen Schulauftritt von Kindern erinnert… Ein Hinweis vorab auf die Ausrichtungsstätte mit Beurteilung etc. wäre sicher hilfreich gewesen!
