Mitsuko Uchida at the Concertgebouw: Mozart & Bartók
O wydarzeniu
Delight in the artistry that underpins the world‐famous pianist's performances, as both soloist and conductor as Dame Mitsuko Uchida continues her Artistic Partnership with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra.
Directing from the keyboard, Uchida plays Mozart's seventeeth and twenty‐fifth piano concertos. Although her interpretations of Mozart are justly acclaimed, more recent compositions have also featured heavily in the pianist's repertoire, and here she explores this theme further, conducting Bartók's neoclassical Divertimento for String Orchestra.
