Rising star conductor Karen Kamensek and the Norwegian Radio Orchestra take the audience on a symphonic journey with works by Glass, Hillborg, and Rimsky‐Korsakov.

Swedish composer Anders Hillborg is known for his sound experiments. His '…lontana in sonno…' opens the program of this concert, with versatile mezzo‐soprano soloist Tora Augstad. The orchestra then turns to Philip Glass' first complete symphonic work 'The Light' and finishes with Rimsky‐Korsakov's symphonic poem, 'Sheherazade'.
