Iphigenia in Tauris at Semperoper, Dresden
O wydarzeniu
Indulge in a fusion of dance and opera, as the Semperoper Ballet restages Pina Bausch's seminal 1974 work, based on the opera of the same name by Gluck.
Singers tell the story with their voices, whilst the dancers use Bausch's characteristically intense physical language to depict the story of the Greek princess‐turned‐priestess, who must sacrifice her brother to the Goddess Diana, through movement.
