Daniel‐François Auber's comic opera, 'Fra Diavolo' comes to Rome in a new production by Giorgio Barberio Corsetti. The excellent cast includes rising‐star soprano Pretty Yende as Zerlina.
The title character of Auber's opera is a bandit whose crimes become intertwined with the romantic destiny of the innkeeper's daughter.
