Coffee‐Concert Songs: Palazzetto Bru Zane
O wydarzeniu
If the official history of music generally only remembers the great lyrical or symphonic productions, the ambition to rediscover the French romantic repertoire pushes Palazzetto Bru Zane to explore other artistic forms and other musical places. The coffee‐concerts, present in Paris since the end of the eighteenth century, flourished in France in the second half of the nineteenth century. We know the influence of these places of entertainment and meeting on the work of some painters (in particular Toulouse‐Lautrec), but the music that was performed there is a world still to be investigated. Rodolphe Briand, accompanied on the piano by Vincent Leterme, offers us a first guided tour of this Eldorado.
