Classical music concert. Dvořák & Grieg in Rudolfinum, Prague: Stanislav Khristenko & Moravian Philharmonic
O wydarzeniu
In this wonderful evening, Grieg's Piano Concerto and Dvořák's Symphony From the New World played in the Rudolfinum will provide an inimitable experience. American pianist Stanislav Khristenko will share the stage with the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of the conductors Aage Richard Meyer and Dr. Roland R. Davis.
The performance is held at the Rudolfinium where Grieg himself performed and conducted multiple pieces himself. The Norwegian conductor Aage Richard Meyer will lead the musicians in the masterwork of his compatriot. Edvard Grieg's piano concerto in A minor will again symbolically rejoin Antonín Dvořák's From the New World conducted by American composer and conductor Dr. Roland R. Davis, which interconnects the influences of Czech and American music. In this piece Dvořák explores the hectic city life alongside the nostalgia of the Czech home.
