The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) under its Music Director, Andris Nelsons, embarks on a journey encompassing two remarkable musical landmarks together with Rudolf Buchbinder.

Beethoven’s magisterial Piano Concerto in E‐flat major is considered to be one of the key works marking the start of the Romantic period. After the interval, the English orchestra performs music by its great fellow countryman, Edward Elgar.
