Almost four decades of profound questioning and searching separate the conception of Bartók's one‐act opera, "Bluebeard's Castle" and Poulenc's "lyric tragedy", "La Voix Humaine". These two works are brought together on the Palais Garnier stage in this first cooperation between conductor Esa‐Pekka Salonen and director Krzysztof Warlikowski.
