An evening with Laurie Anderson, Cité de la Musique

Laurie Anderson has changed the notion of performance practice, invented instruments, and created a new way of storytelling through songs, images, and texts. Her "portrait", though, is signed by the artists invited to join her on stage this week: CocoRosie, Antony, Colin Stetson, Glenn Branca and John Zorn.

Since her 1970s experimental performances, Anderson has never ceased to surprise with her multifaceted oeuvre. For tonight's special concert, she will present excerpts from Another Day in America along with some of her newest works.
