From Abano Montegrotto Tour to Arquà Petrarca medieval village
With this tour to Arquà Petrarca we’ll discover the second most beautiful medieval villages in venetian region. Francesco Petrarca, one of the most famous Italian poets, made Arquà Petrarca his home. In this marvellous medieval village, we’ll visit Petrarch’s house and we’ll be amazed by the beauty and sinuosity of the Euganean Hills. We can say his house is a pearl surrounded by this pretty medieval village, where the time seems to have stopped. We’ll discover it with, first, a visit in a well‐known olive oil mill, where the oil producer will explain us his every day work and the process of production of olive oil. In the end, we’ll finish this visit with a guided tasting of olive oil of the Euganean Hills. We continue our experiential tour with the visit of the little enterprise of a producer of venetian delights: here we’ll have a tasting of liqueurs, marmalades and Brodo di Giuggiole accompanied by the wise tale of the owner and producer.

From Abano Montegrotto, Wine Tour in the Euganean Hills
The Euganean Hills are a group of hills of volcanic origin that rise to heights of 300 to 600 m from the Padovan‐Venetian plain a few km south of Venice. Accompanied by the Local Tour Leader you will enter the heart of the Euganean Hills to discover, thanks to the visit in two renowned wineries of the Euganean territory, the best wine production in the area. Here the particular volcanic origin of the soil and the good climate allows the cultivation of various vines. Among the white wines: the Serprino, biotype of the Glera vine, is the “volcanic” version of Prosecco; the Pinot bianco; the Garganega, the Chardonnay and Manzoni. Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carmènere have found space among the reds. Between a walk through the vineyards, a visit to the cellar and several wine tastings paired with typical local products we will listen to the wise tale of the winemakers about the expressions of their best wines.

From Venice, Tour to the Walled Town Of Monselice
With this tour to Monselice we will learn more about this walled city from which many writers, artists and poets were inspired. We will visit the Monselice Castle, a treasure chest containing ancient weapons, chests, valuable tapestries and splendid period furnishings from all over Italy. We will then go up along what has been defined as the most beautiful walk in the Veneto, via del Santuario, with its Villas, its famous Seven Churches which recall the Seven Basilicas of Rome and which are still a popular pilgrimage destination for devotees from all over Europe . There will be no shortage of panoramic points from which to admire the town from above. We will then go to visit an oil mill, where the young owners will directly show you the art of oil production and involve us in a tasty tasting of extra virgin olive oil (EVO).
