Dwa narody, dwa muzyczne krajobrazy. Z jednej strony lodowa przestrzeń Finlandii, gdzie Jean Sibelius jest wybitną postacią muzyczną, z drugiej strony ciepłe bryzy Andaluzji, ojczyzny Manuela de Falli, skrzyżowania kultur pełnego uroku. Program ten rozwija się jako seria symfonicznych impresji, w których muzyka staje się „ucztą barw i rytmów”, znakomicie oddając wyjątkowe i fascynujące sceny z tych dwóch krajów: od La vida breve po Noches en los jardines de España na fortepian i orkiestrę, a kulminacją jest majestatyczna II Symfonia Sibeliusa, kwintesencja „manifestu dźwiękowego” fińskiego dziedzictwa.

| Orkiestra: | Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi Known colloquially as 'La Verdi', Milan's famed symphony orchestra was formed in the early 90s to supplement the city's already‐generous cultural offering. Making its home in Milan's Auditorio, La Verdi features among Europe's most respected and admired symphonic ensembles. Its first Musical Director, Ricardo Chailly, now holds the title of Conductor Laureate, while the Austrian conductor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, a fast‐rising star in the orchestral firmament took over the role of Musical Director in 2024, following in the footsteps of several major names in the classical world. La Verdi welcomes a starry roster of soloists and guest conductors over the course of an extensive and varied annual season, and regularly features as guests of honour at important state occasions and international concert engagements. |
