Emmanuel Tjeknavorian zabiera publiczność w taneczną podróż po najcenniejszych stronach poświęconych baletowi. Po raz pierwszy prezentuje na scenie mediolańskiej sali koncertowej „swoją” interpretację tego repertuaru, przedstawiając suitę, którą sam stworzył na podstawie baletu Gayane swojego wybitnego rodaka Arama Chaczaturiana. Wraz z Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano dyrektor muzyczny tworzy program skupiony na balecie: obok armeńskiego kompozytora znajdziemy Strawińskiego z „Ognistym ptakiem”, doskonałym wyrazem jego „rosyjskiej” fazy kompozytorskiej, oraz Manuela de Fallę z „Trójkątnym kapeluszem” – oba balety napisane dla genialnego Diagilewa, deus ex machina Baletów Rosyjskich.

Orkiestra: Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi

Known colloquially as 'La Verdi', Milan's famed symphony orchestra was formed in the early 90s to supplement the city's already‐generous cultural offering. Making its home in Milan's Auditorio, La Verdi features among Europe's most respected and admired symphonic ensembles. Its first Musical Director, Ricardo Chailly, now holds the title of Conductor Laureate, while the Austrian conductor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, a fast‐rising star in the orchestral firmament took over the role of Musical Director in 2024, following in the footsteps of several major names in the classical world. La Verdi welcomes a starry roster of soloists and guest conductors over the course of an extensive and varied annual season, and regularly features as guests of honour at important state occasions and international concert engagements.
