Bologna Festical: Orchestra Senzaspine
Bolonia, Chiesa di Santa Cristina della Fondazza
O wydarzeniu
For more than forty years, Italy’s finest newly graduated pianists have converged on the Premio Venezia, whose finalists are traditionally destined for solid international careers. The thrill of witnessing a star being born is integral to the performances of Daniele Martinelli (b. 2004), trained in Bergamo and winner of the latest edition after two outstanding rounds devoted to Kurtág and Liszt. With Mozart and Beethoven, Orchestra Senzaspine “challenges” him to scale, in a single evening, the cornerstones of the piano‐and‐orchestra literature at the turn of the eighteenth to the nineteenth century: two virtuosic yet symphonically conceived concertos, marking a decisive stage in the development of the genre.
