| Solist: | Gabora Gyula 1978'de doğan başarılı kemancı ve başkemancı, 26 yaşına geldiğinde Paganini Uluslararası Keman Yarışması ve Joachim Uluslararası Oda Müziği Yarışması'nda ödüller kazanmıştı. ABD'de UCLA Senfoni Orkestrası ve Dallas Palpiti Senfoni Orkestrası'nda solist olarak çaldı. Oda müziği kariyerinde çok önemli bir yere sahip olan Gabora, 1992 yılında oda müziği alanında en iyi Macar geleneğini geliştirmek amacıyla kurulan Budapeşte Oda Senfonisi'nde (Weiner‐Szász Oda Senfonisi) çalmaktadır. Gyula Gabora ayrıca Macar Oda Orkestrası, Macar Radyo Orkestrası ve Alman Oda Filarmonisi ile de sahne almıştır. Avrupa Oda Orkestrası'nda Birinci Keman çalmaktadır. Başlıca kayıtları arasında Mendelssohn Keman Konçertosu — Budapeşte, 1997 ve Piazzola Dört Mevsim — Los Angeles, 2002 bulunmaktadır. Profesör Boris Kuschnir (Viyana), Profesör Eduard Schmieder (ABD — SMU Üniversitesi, Dallas), Józsefné Szász (Budapeşte) ve Gyula Gabora'nın 2005 yılında mezun olduğu Ferenc Liszt Müzik Akademisi'nden Miklós Szenthelyi ile çalıştı. |

| Orkestra: | Duna Yaylı Orkestrası Budapeşte'nin önemli kurumlarından biri olan Duna Yaylı Orkestrası, Aziz Stephen Bazilikası, Aziz Michael Kilisesi ve Duna Sarayı gibi şehrin en önemli simge yapılarında düzenli olarak konserler vermektedir. Keman sanatçısı Gabora Gyula'nın yönetimindeki orkestra, Budapeşte'nin altın çağının ruhunu yansıtan ortamlarda 17., 18. ve 19. yüzyılların büyük eserlerini seslendirir ve bu görkemli mekanlarda bulunan muhteşem klavye enstrümanlarından en iyi şekilde yararlanmak için sık sık ünlü org sanatçıları da orkestraya eşlik eder. |
Matthias Church (Matyas Templon)
The Matthias Church is one of the Medieval gems of the Buda Castle District. Built in the second half of the 13th century in the opulent Gothic style, it was the venue of coronations and royal weddings. During the 150 years of the Turkish occupation, it was transformed into the main mosque of the city. The interior was completely transformed, including the whitewashing of the wall frescoes. In the 19th Century the church was restored to something resembling its original appearance, however its splendours were destroyed by the Second World War. Subsequent renovations took around 20 years, and further restoration was carried out between 2006 and 2013 Besides its stunning interior, the Matthias Church also impresses with its uniquely tiled roof, and gargoyle-laden spire. Visitors can also enjoy high-quality classical concerts, performed by local and visiting musicians.
