Giuliano Carmignola grew up hearing his father play Vivaldi, and it wasn't too long before he was performing, too, with the Virtuosi di Roma.
The Four Seasons have become maybe the world's most famous violin music, and it's easy to see why. Vivaldi describes each time of year with easily‐understandable and effective musical painting.
Carmignola's performance on baroque violin is accompanied by the Early Music group kammerorchesterbasel.
