The opening concert of the Konzerthausorchester features internationally renowned pianist Arcadi Volodos performing a brilliant, incomparable work: Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1. The first bars of the concerto are unforgettable! Schostakovich's Symphony No. 4 is also featured on the program conducted by Andrey Boreyko, head of the Orchestre National de Blegique. With this program he continues the long tradition of Shostakovich with the Konzerthausorchester — an ideal way to begin the new season after a long summer break.
