Ezen a nagy várakozással kísért koncerten hallgathatja meg a barokk és romantikus korszak klasszikus zenéjének dallamos hangjait Vivaldi, Mascagni, Rossini és mások műveiből, eredeti pengetős hangszereken előadva, Velence világhírű, nagy becsben tartott Szent György anglikán templomában.
A velencei Szent György anglikán templom csodálatos környezetében a MandolinVenice Ensemble zenei utazásra invitálja a közönséget az olasz klasszikus zene történetén keresztül, Vivalditól Rossiniig, mandolinok hangulatos hangzásával. A koncerten az együttes eredeti darabjai mellett szerzői átiratok is elhangzanak, amelyek ideális útvonalat jelölnek ki a hangszer számára valaha írt legszebb dallamok felfedezéséhez, egy olyan élményben, amely biztosan megérinti a hallgatók szívét és lelkét.

This small ensemble was a real find and a great evening entertainment while we were holidaying in Venice. The group ranges in number from a quartet to an octet and all are consummate musicians playing mandolin, mandolin and guitar. The intimate setting meant that we could follow every instrument withe clarity. The control of dynamics especially at pp gave a wonderful delicacy and the tasteful use of rubato breathed life into the music. The nicely varied repertoire was mostly from the romantic era, where the mandolin attained its truly unique voice. We appreciated the insightful commentary which was also kindly translated into English for us. I took my two children to this concert and was not sure how they would react but both loved it! I was disappointed that more people did not attend this concert since this ensemble really deserves more recognition. In summary we had a wonderful experience and I bought the CD.
