Drawing on Orlando Furioso for its plot, 'Ariodante' contains some of Handel's most dramatic and delightful music. From the spectacular Dopo notte and Scherza infida, written for star castrato Carestini, to the exquisite music for Ginevra, this is a score to thrill any fan of Handel's music.
