The Orchestra I Musici Veneziani was founded in 1996 with the intention of reviving the artistic tradition of the most splendid period of the Republica Serenissima. Made up of some of the most talented Venetian musicians and singers, it is still the only classical orchestra in the world whose musicians wear Baroque dresses designed according to original designs. During their performances, the musicians are accompanied by outstanding international opera singers.
In the historical setting of the Scuola Grande di San Teodoro the baroque costumed orchestra members will enchant you with the sound of wonderful arias from the most popular operas of Puccini, Mozart and Rossini.
