Celebrate the artistic legacy of two of the Twentieth Century’s greatest names in dance, and the promise for the future represented by the works of great choreographers of the present day.
The Ballet of the Opera di Roma performs works by Balanchine and Nureyev, alongside ‘Closer’ by Benjamin Millepied, whose work on the film ‘Black Swan’ returned ballet to the center of popular imagination. The celebration continues with a creation by William Forsythe, whose innovative dance language has made him an iconic choreographer of the last 20 years, with commissions for the world’s leading dance companies.
Premiere on February 26th, 2016.
