Plácido Domingo is a living legend and is considered one of the greatest singers of the 20th and 21st centuries. In his 60‐year career, the star tenor has interpreted 134 roles and appeared on all the great stages of the world. His interpretations of the major parts of his repertoire have influenced generations of singers and led to groundbreaking recordings with the most important conductors of our time.

A Caracalla‐fürdők Róma ókori fürdői, az Örök Város legnagyobb termálfürdői közé tartoznak.
A Caracalla‐fürdők építése valószínűleg 206‐ban kezdődött Septimius Severus alatt, és 216‐ban fejeződött be Caracalla császár idején. További bővítések, például árkádok és díszítések Elagabal és Severus Alexander császárok idején történtek, így a komplexum csak 235‐ben készült el teljesen. A Diocletianus‐fürdőkkel együtt a nyilvános és ingyenes fürdőpaloták közé tartozott.
537‐ben az ostrogótok Róma ostroma során megsemmisítették a vízvezetéket, ami véget vetett a fürdőzésnek. Ennek ellenére a reneszánszig a legjobban megőrzött termálfürdőnek számítottak.
1824‐ben Girolamo Egidio di Velo gróf vezetésével megkezdődtek a rendszeres ásatások, amelyek során találták meg az atlétákat ábrázoló mozaikot. Ma a Római Opera szabadtéri operaelőadásokat tart itt.
