1870‐ben Richard Wagner egy elbűvölő hangszeres darabot, a Siegfried Idyll‐t komponált 13 hangszerre, születésnapi ajándékként feleségének, Cosimának, aki nemrég szülte meg kedves fiúkat, Siegfriedet. A darabot meglepetésként mutatták be, amikor Cosima karácsony reggelén felébredt a család tribscheni villájában, Luzern közelében. Az Idyll gyengéd és érzelmes intimitást hordoz, de érdekes módon egy kontrasztos művel párosítják: Bruckner hetedik szimfóniájával, amely grandiózus és ünnepélyes, és amelynek célja, hogy lenyűgözze a hallgatóságot fenséges hangzásával és általa sugárzott spirituális erővel.

| Zenekar: | Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi Known colloquially as 'La Verdi', Milan's famed symphony orchestra was formed in the early 90s to supplement the city's already‐generous cultural offering. Making its home in Milan's Auditorio, La Verdi features among Europe's most respected and admired symphonic ensembles. Its first Musical Director, Ricardo Chailly, now holds the title of Conductor Laureate, while the Austrian conductor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, a fast‐rising star in the orchestral firmament took over the role of Musical Director in 2024, following in the footsteps of several major names in the classical world. La Verdi welcomes a starry roster of soloists and guest conductors over the course of an extensive and varied annual season, and regularly features as guests of honour at important state occasions and international concert engagements. |
