Ez a koncertsorozat a klasszikus zene és a templomépítészet szerelmeseinek egyaránt kötelező program: Élvezze a klasszikus zenét a Mátyás‐templomban, Budapest történelmi várnegyedében, Budavárban.
Az együttes olyan híres zeneszerzők műveit adja elő, mint Vivaldi, Bach és Händel.

| Szólista: | Gabora Gyula Az 1978‐ban született kiváló hegedűművész és koncertmester 26 éves korára már díjat nyert a Paganini Nemzetközi Hegedűversenyen és a Joachim Nemzetközi Kamarazenei Versenyen. Az Egyesült Államokban szólistaként játszott a UCLA Szimfonikus Zenekarban és a dallasi Pálpiti Szimfonikus Zenekarban. Pályafutásában nagyon fontos a kamarazene, játszik a Budapesti Kamaraszimfonikus Zenekarban (Weiner‐Szász Kamaraszimfonikus Zenekar), amely 1992‐ben alakult a kamarazenélés legjobb magyar hagyományainak ápolására. Gabora Gyula fellépett a Magyar Kamarazenekarral, a Magyar Rádió Zenekarával és a Német Kamarafilharmóniával is. Az Európa Kamarazenekarban első hegedűs. Fontosabb felvételei közé tartozik Mendelssohn hegedűversenye — Budapest, 1997 és Piazzola Négy évszak — Los Angeles, 2002. Tanulmányait Prof. Boris Kuschnir (Bécs), Prof. Eduard Schmieder (USA — SMU University, Dallas), Szász Józsefné (Budapest) és Szenthelyi Miklós mellett végezte a Liszt Ferenc Zeneművészeti Főiskolán, ahol Gabora Gyula 2005‐ben diplomázott. |

| Zenekar: | Duna Vonószenekar A Duna Vonószenekar budapesti intézmény, amely rendszeresen fellép a város legjelentősebb nevezetességein, többek között a Szent István Bazilikában, a Szent Mihály‐templomban és a Duna Palotában. A hegedűművész Gabora Gyula vezényletével a zenekar a 17., 18. és 19. század remekműveit adja elő a budapesti aranykor hangulatát idéző környezetben, gyakran neves orgonaművészek kíséretével, hogy a legjobban kihasználják a csodálatos hangszerek adta lehetőségeket. |
Matthias Church (Matyas Templon)
The Matthias Church is one of the Medieval gems of the Buda Castle District. Built in the second half of the 13th century in the opulent Gothic style, it was the venue of coronations and royal weddings. During the 150 years of the Turkish occupation, it was transformed into the main mosque of the city. The interior was completely transformed, including the whitewashing of the wall frescoes. In the 19th Century the church was restored to something resembling its original appearance, however its splendours were destroyed by the Second World War. Subsequent renovations took around 20 years, and further restoration was carried out between 2006 and 2013 Besides its stunning interior, the Matthias Church also impresses with its uniquely tiled roof, and gargoyle-laden spire. Visitors can also enjoy high-quality classical concerts, performed by local and visiting musicians.
