Experience a concert of new music with star‐violinist Daniel Hope and the Tonkünstler‐Orchester Niederösterreich under the baton of Andrés Orozco‐Estrada in a programme titled "Zeit: Punkt".

Last season, the Tonkünstler called attention to themselves once again: new music is a mirror image of our time, an artistic viewpoint in the here and now. Thus the motto behind the successful launch of a new programme focus. The Tonkünstler have taken this thought up again and continued the idea. A new work by the Austrian composer and organist Wolfgang Mitterer will be premiered. Before that, Daniel Hope will interpret the second violin concerto by Peter Maxwell Davies, one of the most versatile composers of our time. The evening will be opened by «Magnetite», a work by the young and highly acclaimed British composer Emily Howard.

The concert is a co‐production between the Tonkünstler Orchestra Niederösterreich and WIEN MODERN.
