Fifth Quadrant & Dal'Ouna: Spitalfields Music Summer Festival

British string quartet Fifth Quadrant and Palestinian group Dal’Ouna join forces to explore the relationship between Eastern and Western classical music at the Spitalfields Music Summer Festival.

The two ensembles will perform the world premiere of "Who is my neighbour?" combining ritualised movement with musical gestures and colours from both Western and Middle Eastern sources, Antony Pitt’s piece premieres alongside a set of traditional Arabic Oriental classical music and Dvorak’s popular ‘American’ String Quartet Op.96.

7.00pm – 7.30pm Shoreditch Church Bells
The Society of Royal Cumberland Youths ring in the first of the festival's concerts at Shoreditch Church.
