The Harmony of Nations Baroque Orchestra, conducted by Bjarte Eike, performs music of Bach, Rameau, Vivaldi, Handel, and Pachelbel.

What was it about the air from Bach’s Suite No. 3 in D Major that made it so successful? What is it about a Nuremberg organist’s canon that enchants audiences so completely? And how did Handel manage to transform his friend William Croft’s simple idea into the rousing allegro of his Music for the Royal Fireworks?

The baroque orchestra Harmony of Nations sets out to answer all these questions with the authentic baroque vigour and splendour.
