演出简介

Christoph Willibald Glucks tragic opera "Alceste" will be staged by Peter Konwitschny, under the baton of Paolo Carignani, at the Oper Leipzig.

The opera is the first part of a cycle of four works by Gluck presented at the Oper Leipzig in this and the next season. Director Peter Konwitschny will present the primeval conflicts of the patriarchate in the greatest opera literature.
