Bach: h‐minor mass

On Bach's day of death, the Munich Bach Choir and the Bach Collegium Munich will perform under the direction of Hansjörg Albrecht the h‐minor mass by Bach.

The h‐minor mass is Bach's only complete composition of the mass text and the last great one before this great composer died. A recital of this mass to Bach's lifetime is not ascertainable — the h‐minor mass is one of his compositions which were rediscovered in the 19th century.
