The Trias of Romantic: Schumann Brahms Dvorak

演出简介

Romantic Indugence

Lord Byrons' play inspired Robert Schumann writing his Manfred‐ouverture. Among his rich work of dramatical music is the 'Manfred' — the brother of the german Faust — the most popular piece.
The concert for cello counts to the American period of Dvorak. The mix of slavic and exotic elements with the classical composition‐stile are typical for this period.
After the first perfomance of the first performance of his symphonie no. 4 the musicians sang 'And again he wrote the same…' to the melodie of the first bars. In our times especially the uncommon passcaglia is a reason for the special appreciation of the audience and the critics.
