In both Brussels and Lille, the Belgian National Orchestra will be conducted by none other than Vladimir Fedoseyef in an appealing, predominantly Russian programme.

The orchestra will perform a symphonic fairytale by Sofiya Gubaydulina, as well as Prokofiev's optimistic Fifth Symphony. The Russian pianist Anna Vinnitskaya, first laureate of the 2007 Queen Elisabeth Competition, provides the cherry on the icing of the cake with her performance of Schumann's Piano Concerto.
