Camerata de Lausanne

演出简介

Founded in 2002 by the Lausanne Conservatory at the instigation of Pierre Amoyal, the Camerata de Lausanne upholds the tradition of ensembles that perform without conductor. In addition to Pierre Amoyal, first violin, the ensemble is composed of four to six violins, two violas and two cellos, depending on the repertoire to be performed. The members of the ensemble are selected by competition. These talented young musicians from very diverse backgrounds join together to form a homogeneous ensemble, dynamic and bound by the same instrumental tradition. They thus unite the activities of a musical formation of high standards with the demands of professional life.
