Embrace the future of classical music with Ryan Wigglesworth, violinist Barnabás Kelemen, and the Radio Philharmonic.

An acclaimed champion of contemporary music, as well as a notable composer in his own right, Wigglesworth conducts a varied program including Oliver Knussen's Stravinsky tribute 'Flourish with Fireworks', Harrison Birtwistle's Dowland‐inspired 'Night's Black Bird', and his own violin concerto, and 'Locke's Theatre', influenced by incidental music for Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' by the 17th Century composer. A late work by Janáček provides the common ground from which all of these composers have sprung.
