Young conductor Robin Ticciati is one of the most sought‐after artists of his generation. He directs the Budapest Festival Orchestra in a program of works by Wagner, Strauss, and Bruckner.

The evening opens with the Prelude of Wagner's opera, "Lohengrin", setting the stage for two composers who were greatly influenced by Wagner's work: Richard Strauss and Anton Bruckner. For Strauss' Horn Concerto No. 2, the orchestra will be joined by Radovan Vlatković. Bruckner's rarely performed, technically challenging Sixth Symphony closes the program.
