Wagner's 'Tristan und Isolde' is one of the most important operas in music history. Valery Gergiev has entrusted the difficult Tristan part to the Austrian tenor Andreas Schager. The singer appears regularly in Bayreuth and has already sung Siegmund in Baden‐Baden under Gergiev. The Austrian soprano Martina Serafin makes her Baden‐Baden debut with Isolde.
