Royal Ballet Flanders

演出简介

The Royal Ballet Flanders is one of the most prestigious dance companies in Europe at the moment. In them we see a contemporary dance esthetic which brings to mind those great works of the repertoire in Paris in the nineties.

The director Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, whose personal style is a cross between dreamlike and contortionist which has made him famous, has created specific choreographies for Stravinsky’s The Firebird (premiered in Paris by Les Ballets Russes in 1910) and Debussy’s Prélude à l’après‐midi d’un faune. The company offers an outstanding version of these works from their intuitive view and their highly esthetic concept.
