Six Rising Stars travel all over Europe. On this occasion: trombone player Peter Moore, with works by Brahms, Beethoven and Gershwin, among others. Under the name Rising Stars, leading music venues from all over Europe host six musicians and ensembles. For a year they travel from city to city. Trombone, cello, harp, strings, piano and vocals — all are represented in this multi‐faceted season Rising Stars. The repertoire ranges from Schubert songs to works by Bartók, Brahms and Rameau. And in every concert you will hear a work specially composed for this Rising Star. Hear the international stars of tomorrow and the day after in the Concertgebouw. As the youngest member of the orchestra ever, Peter Moore was admitted to the London Symphony Orchestra when he was eighteen. Today he plays Brahms' Four ernst Gesänge and arrangements of songs by Gershwin.
