Revisit the wonder of childhood — and its cautionary tales — as the Italian composer Pierangelo Valtinoni's children's opera 'Pinocchio' comes to the Volksoper to delight audiences through the Christmas season and beyond.
The familiar tale of the puppet who wants to be 'a real boy', the curious behavior of his nose, and the faithful love of his his father‐creator Geppetto has been turned into a work that has delighted audiences around the world, with several key roles performed by children, and a full series of adventures for the naughty puppet.
