Donizetti's famous 'Lucia Di Lammermoor' comes to the stage of the Opera Australia in Sydney in a unique version by director John Doyle with period designs by Liz Ascroft.
Australian soprano Jessica Pratt makes her debut at the Opera Australia, joining the ranks of Nellie Melba and Joan Sutherland as one of the three who performed this extremely dramatic role on the stage of La Scala in Milan.
Pratt's Lucia is joined by Michael Fabiano’s Edgardo and Giorgio Caoduro’s Enrico.
