On the occasion of Holocaust Memorial Day, LaVerdi retraces the voices and music that accompanied (and often tragically supported) the violence of the Holocaust. On the one hand Wagner and Beethoven, masters of Romanticism, praised by the propaganda of Nazism, on the other Schulhoff and Eisler, composers forgotten, killed or escaped from Nazi madness, who, with their music, have left a moving and valuable testimony of one of the greatest tragedies in our history.
