Celebrate nature in all its glories as the Konserthuset focuses on the work of Andrea Tarrodi. The Swedish composer's work, vividly colored and often nature‐inspired, has been described by critics as 'breathtaking'.

'Birds of Paradise' for string orchestra, and 'Acanthes' — a double concerto receiving its world premiere with violinists Malin Broman, Musica Vitae's artistic leader, and Pekka Kuusisto — both look to the plant world for inspiration, while 'Sorrow and Joy', and Schoenberg's Verklärte Nacht explore the unavoidable duality of nature.
