The Requiem for the Empress of Johann Fux provides us with the chance to hear Etienne Meyer and his Traversées Baroques, an ensemble of authentic instruments eager to present little‐known works.

Fux' 1720 work infuses musical textures with an intensity perfectly suited to that of the text.
