Alongside better‐known works such as Britten's 'The Poet's Echo', and selections from Copland's 'Songs of Emily Dickinson and Barber's Rilke settings Mélodies passagères, Stotijn sings comparitive rarities, such as A.M. Beach's 'Three Browning Songs', and the Pulitzer‐nominated 'Rilke Songs' written by Peter Lieberson for his late wife, the great American mezzo, Lorraine Hunt Lieberson.
