Choreographer Thierry Malandain makes the well‐known story of Cinderella into the story of a dance star who experiences all the ups and downs of a career.

Malandain created his tragic and highly symbolic vision of the story from 'ashes and magic'. His Cinderella discovers that the way to success is full of pain and trials but also hope.
