Explore the commonalities between 18th and 20th Century chamber works with celebrated violinist Lisa Batiashvili and renowned oboist François Leleux as they join the chamber ensemble of the Accadamia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia.

An intriguing program is on offer, with concertos by Bach and Marcello for violin and oboe respectively bookending works by Soviet composers — Shostakovich' early 'Two Pieces for String Octet', composed while the composer was still a student, and the 'Miniatures' of Georgian composer, Sulkhan Tsintsadze, whose acclaim at home did not reach the West in the manner of his precocious colleague.
