Rimsky‐Korsakov travelled to Cadiz during his military service and explored the Spanish character with this Spanish Capriccio; Manuel de Falla composed this, his study of Tricorne, for the Russian Ballet in London; and, Turina's Danses Fantastiques, also included in this programme, are both authentic and opulent.
