Final Ballads: Accentus & Laurence Equilbey

О событии

Laurence Equilbey conducts Accentus and the Orchestre de l'Opéra de Rouen Haute‐Normandie at Cité de la Musique in Paris.

Schumann did not live to hear performances of his two vocal works on the programme for this evening, Des Sängers Fluch and Vom Pagen und der Königstochter. Des Sängers Fluch, for choir and orchestra, is based on a poem by Ludwig Uhland, in which a young singer and an elderly harpist compete for the favour of a cruel monarch.
