The Queen Symphony: Freddy Mercury & Queen

О событии

You are invited to enjoy this festive concert “The Queen Symphony” by the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, Kaunas State Choir, Ązouliukas Choir, and soloists at the Vilnius Congress Concert Hall.

In 2002, the British composer Tolga Kashif wrote an original composition that united rock and symphonic music – “The Queen Symphony” based on interpretation of Queen’s music. Nowadays it is performed across the world and is still one of the most popular recordings on the lists in Europe, the USA and Asia. In Lithuania, it was first performed in 2007 on the eve of the eighteenth anniversary of the LSSO. Since then it has been the highlight of many gala concerts given by the orchestra. Numerous sound effects, unexpected appearances of female soloists and dramatic voices of the choir make the melodies of the legendary band inimitable and our lives more exciting.
