Shanghai Symphony Orchestra 2011‐12 Season: Opening Concert

Shanghai Symphony Orchestra’s new season opens with a refreshing mixture of old and new by two best‐loved composers: Beethoven and Mozart. The latter’s three rarely‐heard concert arias will be sung by Shenyang, 2007 Cardiff Singer of the World, a rising star, and this season’s Artist in Residence.

At this concert the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra will perform works by Mozart.
