Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège Wallonie Bruxelles: Franck & Saint‐Saëns

The Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège Wallonie Bruxelles and Yossif Ivanov (violin) perform works by Franck and Saint‐Saëns.
 

For this thoroughly French programme the Liège Philharmonic has invited the Belgian violinist Yossif Ivanov — an outstanding musician, as we know since his magnificent second prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2005. Ivanov will be the soloist in the Violin Concerto by Camille Saint‐Saëns, a somewhat neglected gem of the violin repertoire.
